The depot can
create dealer advice once the required gifts
have been received from either third party
shipper, from vendor or from a regional depot as
inter depot transfer from the regional depot.
1. To create a new
dealer advice click on the
button. This will display a screen where the
details have to be entered.
On clicking the
button the following screen will be displayed:
Please enter values in the following fields:
1. Select the Business line from Drop down the
field after the financial year against the
select Scheme Code like ML1 or ML2 .
2. Enter the scheme number e.g 38 and click the
GO button.
3. If the scheme code is entered properly on
clicking 'GO' Button it will display the scheme
description in red color next to 'GO' button
otherwise it will display a message. Say ok and
reenter the number with the correct business
line.
4. Select the gift item which you want to
despatch.
5. Select the courier through whom the
despatches will be made to the dealer from
dropdown. If you do not find the courier name
you have to create the courier details in the
vendor master selecting vendor type as Courier.
6. Enter consignment number & date dd/mm/yyyy.
This will be repeated against each dealer and
you can change the last digits as may be needed
to put the correct consignment number else you
may have to enter a large number against each
dealer.
7. Now you will get a list of all the dealers to
whom you need to despatch the gift item.
8. Select the dealers from the list and create a
dealer advice for that courier and update the
actual despatch quantity, consignment number &
consignment date.
9. Click the submit button. The advice will be
created and displayed.
10. A message will be displayed asking the user
to print the dealer letter & the label for the
consignment packet which can be stuck on the
packet. The dealer letter has to be also
enclosed in the packet.
11. After the printing is over you can click the
dealer advice List hyper link shown on top of
the screen on the right of the screen below the
Home symbol.
12. This will take you to
the list screen. If you do not find the advice
line in the screen checkif the selected month
shown on top is the same as the scheme promotion
month. If it is not the same select the correct
month and click on
button and you will see
the advice line listed.
When you click
dealer advice link on top of the screen the
following screen is displayed.If you do not find the advice line in the

Advice number.
If you click on the advice number it will
display all selected dealers. You can print the
label & letter incase you did not print earlier.
If you click on the depot hyper link, the dealers selected in this advice will
be displayed. The user
can now update the dealer acknowledgment against
the respective dealer. This is to be updated
whenever you receive any ack. from the dealers.
